Step 8: Once the installation process is completed, your phone will restart and soon you will see a PASS message with green background in the left-most box at the very top of the Odin. You can now unplug the USB cable to disconnect your device from computer.

How to Root Galaxy Note 2 N7100 on Android 4 1 2 Jelly Bean Firmware

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 users who have already installed their devices with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, may root their devices using the tutorial below.

This tutorial uses CF-Auto-Root file released by recognised XDA Developers, Chainfire. The CF-Auto-Root file allowing Galaxy Note 2 users to root their devices easily without depending on the firmware. It completely supports Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and future firmware as well. Head over to the CF-Auto-Root main thread to learn more about the root method.

Note: Using this root increases your flash counter. The flash counter keeps track of how many custom firmwares you have flashed, as this voids warranty. Triangle Away can be used to reset the flash counter after installing CF-Auto-Root.

5. Aktifkan USB Debugging
6. Buka aplikasinya
7. Pilih Tulisan Sebelah Kanan
8. Tekan menu Root
9. Kalau berhasil, Handheld akan melakukan reboot sendiri.

Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kecepatan koneksi internet tentu saja masih bergantung pada provider yang dipakai, baru faktor lainnya seperti modem dll. Kalau provider yang dipakai memang koneksinya lemot mau diapa-apain juga tetap gak ngaruh banyak.
Tapi, apa salahnya mencoba melakukan optimalisasi, seperti beberapa hal berikut :
- Mengubah DNS server
Pengertian DNS (domain name system) adalah sebuah sistem yang menyimpan informasi tentang nama host maupun nama domain dalam bentuk basis data tersebar (distributed database) di dalam jaringan komputer, misalkan: Internet (wikipedia bahasa indonesia). Fungsinya adalah menerjemahkan nama komputer ke IP address. Adakalanya DNS bawaan dari provider (ISP) yang kita pakai adalah penyebab mengapa koneksi internet kita lelet/lemot. Ini bisa akibat Server sibuk, jaringan padat atau mungkin server tidak stabil. Dan imbasnya tentu saja browsing jadi sangat lambat atau tak bisa mengakses beberapa situs. Gadget yang satu ini termasuk banyak digunakan oleh para Androiders, tetapi banyak juga yang meragukan kekuatannya. Walau tanpa Corning Gorila Glass, Pihak Samsung benar-benar membuktikan bahwa produk miliknya bukan sembarang, Droptest ini dilakukan oleh Gizmo Slip. Droptest ini dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali, dimulai dari posisi alas Gtab, lalu berlanjut ke sudut, lalu sisinya dan terakhir pada layar Gtab itu sendiri. Mari kita simak saja.

 Kerusakan yang terjadi pada Video diatas hanya pada sudut dan sisinya, tepatnya ketika Gtab untuk kedua dan ketiga kalinya dijatuhkan. Memang cukup mengherankan betapa kuatnya Samsung Galaxy Tab, namun percayalah ini bukan rekayasa, dan banyak juga mengatakan kebenaran kuatnya Gadget yang satu ini.

LG GT 540 ROM 4 0 4 Android Open Kang Project Final Edition vol 3 UPDATE

Kabar menyenangkan untuk anda pengguna Handheld LG Optimus GT-540: Update ICS AOKP ROM terbaru yakni versi 3. Yang sudah di publikasikan tanggal 10 Mei lalu dengan beberapa fitur ICS AOKP ROM yang sudah diperbaiki dan bisa anda download gratis. Kebetulan, update terbaru dari ICS AOKP ROM kali ini adalah update terakhir untuk Custom ROM yang berbasis AOKP [Android Open Kang] ini.

ICS AOKP ROM ini merupakan kelanjutan dari AOKP DevSwifts Android 4.0.4 yang dikembangkan PolishVodka. Custom ROM ini sudah sangat sempurna meski perlu beberapa upgrade lagi. Tetapi secara keseluruhan ROM ini sudah berfungsi dengan baik dan tanpa masalah.

Update Terakhir Android Open Kang Project untuk GT 540 Optimus

Dengan munculnya update ketiga (dan terakhir dari PolishVodka) untuk Android Open Kang Project LG GT540 kali ini berarti seluruh fitur-fiturnya sudah Fully working. Dan dinyatakan sudah stabil dan menjadi Custom ROM tercepat untuk Android 4.0.4 GT540!

Meskipun kelihatannya PolishVodka tidak menyertakan Swap, sistem-nya sudah mampu melakukan multitasking dengan free RAM yang lebih lega. Anda bisa menjalankan Music Player dengan EQ + Root Explorer + Gallery + Browser + Calculator + Calendar yang berjalan di background tanpa menutup salah satu aplikasi, meskipun tanpa swapping.

Untuk menggunakan AOKP Final Edition vol.3 di Hanheld GT-540 Optimus anda, anda harus memiliki setidaknya partisi sistem sebasar 165 MB
Berikut langkah untuk meng-install Cutom ROM AOKP ICS Final Edition ini

Masuk ke Recovery Mode CWM
Back-up ROM anda terlebih dahulu
Wipe data/factory reset
Mounts and storage --> format system , sdext , boot
Pilih file GT540_AOKP_FinalEdition_vol.3.zip dari sdcard
Install file tersebut
Reboot system setelah selesai
Reboot sekali lagi.
Selesai.

Oh iya, untuk fitur Deepsleep tidak akan bisa berjalan jika bluetooth/wifi dalam keadaan menyala, saya sarankan untuk mematikannya jika anda tidak menggunakannya untuk menghemat baterai.

Perhatian! Windows MTP USB Driver tidak muncul, hapus file wpdmtp.inf dan wpdmtp.PNF dari folder C:Windows/inf/files/

Fitur Ekstra lain yang bisa di tambahkan untuk LG GT-540

DevSwifts kernel - Anda bisa mencoba Original ROM kernel DevSwift_kernel.zip tetapi mungkin beberapa fitur tidak bekerja sebagaimana mestinya. Jika ingin kembali menggunkan kernel milik Miroslav anda tinggal Flashing dengan file Restore_Miroslav_kernel.zip.

BTDialingFix - Gunakan jika memang anda menggunakan headset bluetoth untuk melakukan panggilan.

12dalvikcache.txt - Rename dulu menjadi 12dalvikcache saja tanpa ekstensi txt, pindahkan ke system/etc/init.d dan rubah file permissionnya. Reboot. Script ini menciptakan folder dalvik-cache dalam cache partition dan memindahkan dalvik-cache milik aplikasi system. Dengan ini anda punya ruang tambahan dalam ROM untuk meng-install aplikasi. Dan anda perlu hati-hati saat menghapus dalvik-cache ketika dalam mode recovery.

Memory_optimizer - Download dari XDA Flash dengan CWM setelah Install cusrom.

DSPManager - Fitur ini dibuang dari ROM untuk menambah perfoerma, hanya jika anda membutuhkan saja. Bawaan dari ROM ICS: MusicFX from sudah bagus saat digunakan dengan Music Playr default.

wpa_supplicant_adhoc & wpa_supplicant_standard - untuk Ad-Hoc Wi-Fi. dan jika HH anda tidak bisa menemukan AP Wi-Fi

key_original - untuk mengembalikan fungsi tombol sesuai fungsi aslinya.
